Title: Senior Software Engineer - Python

An unprecedented demand for online shopping means that we have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our rapidly scaling business and multi-award winning team.

What you will deliver*

  • Implement integrations with a large number of third-party APIs
  • Scale our products to handle the volume from large retailers
  • Maintain our standards of High Availability
  • Design software that can be easily adapted.

You will contribute to a world class engineering team that follows lean and agile practices. We believe that untested code is broken by design, deliver’s through ongoing deployments and continuously improves.

Requirements*

  • 5+ years Industry experience with Python
  • Strong working knowledge of Git, AWS and a background of system design and architecture
  • Strong engineering principles
  • Extensive experience with unit and acceptance testing tools/practices
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong leadership skills (including experience of coaching and mentoring other engineers)
  • A strong belief in Lean and Agile development processes
  • Evangelisation of a product would be a distinct advantage
  • JavaScript and front-end technologies is a bonus
